Who holds the record for the most rebounds in a single NBA game?

The center from Bosnia and Herzegovina set a new franchise record for the number of rebounds in a single game, catching 31 balls against Oklahoma. Tyson Chandler and Paul Silas held the club record with 27 rebounds each. No one caught more than 26 rebounds this season, so the former Cedevita, Zadar, Denver Nuggets, and Portland TrailBlazers player became the season’s record-holder.

Who has the record for most rebounds in a game?

Last night, the NBA witnessed a remarkable game, the likes of which have not been seen since 2010 when Kevin Love made 31 rebounds. This time, the feat was achieved by a young basketball player from Živinice named Nurkić, who matched Love’s score in a stunning display of skill and athleticism.

However, despite this incredible performance, Nurkić still falls short of the all-time NBA record for rebounds in a single game, which the legendary Will Chamberlain holds. Chamberlain’s record stands at an astounding 55 rebounds in a game against Boston on November 24, 1960. Wilt’s Philadelphia Warriors lost with 132-129 to the Celtics, like Jurkic’s Suns last night. Chamberlain and Bill Russell hold the record for the most games with over 40 rebounds, with Nate Thurmond being the only other player to achieve this incredible feat and join the two basketball greats.
