Today’s MLB action features a full slate of games with an additional game as part of the doubleheader between the Mets and Marlins. Playoff implications are large in several matchups, and the betting markets are hot this morning with movement across the board. There are 3 best bets that stood out to me as value this morning, let’s dive in! Baltimore Orioles team total over 3.5 + ML (-135) Odds available at DraftKings and BetMGM Sports books at time of initial post to Twitter. Playable to -145 odds. Betting on Grayson Rodriguez has been profitable for me this year in his rookie season. Betting against Patrick Corbin has been a profitable endeavor for a few seasons now. Today, I will look to do both things in one move. The Baltimore Orioles are locked into a playoff berth with their 98 wins pacing the American League. With a 2.5-game lead over the Tampa Bay Rays, Baltimore’s magic number for the division is rapidly dwindling. Tonight, they will turn to their future ace in Grayson Rod

Why Honda MotoGP team wouldn't block Marc Marquez's exit

Although the Spaniard has recently been speaking about his intention, or rather hope, to reveal where he will race in 2024 during this weekend's grand prix at Motegi, there is no certainty that by the end of the race on Sunday he will have been able to resolve the dispute he created for himself by wanting to leave Honda one season before the contract he signed at the beginning of 2020 expires. Marquez landed in Japan on Tuesday morning. On Wednesday, he is scheduled to attend an event at Honda's engineering school in Tokyo. Given his sporting situation, one of his main objectives is to sit down with the manufacturer's executives, with whom he hopes to be able to agree on an amicable parting of ways. That meeting will most likely not take place until the weekend at Motegi, where the top brass of Honda Motor, the parent company, is expected to be present. That top brass, led by Shiniji Aoyama - the two-wheeled division's most senior boss -

Home sales fell again in August as homebuyers grapple with rising mortgage rates

Sales of previously occupied U.S. homes fell for the third month in a row in August, as higher mortgage rates, rising prices and a dearth of properties on the market shut out many would-be homebuyers LOS ANGELES -- Sales of previously occupied U.S. homes fell for the third month in a row in August, as higher mortgage rates, rising prices and a dearth of properties on the market shut out many would-be homebuyers. Existing home sales fell 0.7% last month from July to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.04 million, the National Association of Realtors said Thursday. That’s below the 4.10 million pace that economists were expecting, according to FactSet. Sales slumped 15.3% compared with the same month last year and are down 21% through the first eight months of the year versus the same stretch in 2022. Meanwhile, prices rose again last month, propped up by buyers competing for a near-record low inventory of homes on the market. The national median sales price rose 3.9% from August last
