WATCH: Lakers' Patrick Beverley ejected vs. Suns after absolutely leveling 7-footer Deandre Ayton in the back

Patrick Beverley was ejected late in the fourth quarter of the Lakers' loss to Phoenix on Tuesday night, and he could very well be looking at a suspension for absolutely leveling Deandre Ayton.  From the looks of it, Beverley didn't like the seven -foot Ayton standing over Reaves, who was knocked to the ground after a flagrant foul (contact with the face) from Devin Booker.  Have a look.  Full replay of Patrick Beverley shoving Deandre Aytonpic.twitter.com/3O9w9CI4Yt https://t.co/1T1C2IG1kB — 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙠𝙞𝙣’ 𝙉𝘽𝘼 (@_Talkin_NBA) November 23, 2022 That is not a s hove . That's a running-start, shoulder-leading level job. It would be shocking if Beverley doesn't end up suspended for at least a game, if not multiple games, for that act. You can understand Beverley not liking Ayton seemingly taunting a teammate on the ground, but that is entirely uncalled for.  ...

WATCH: Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert ejected for tripping Thunder's Kenrich Williams

Minnesota Timber wolves big man Rudy Gobert was sent to the showers early on Saturday night for a bizarre incident in which he tripped Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kenrich Williams. Gobert was assessed a Flagrant 2 foul after the referees determined his actions were unnecessary and excessive.  A few minutes into the second quarter, Williams went strong to the paint and tossed in a tough floater over Gobert's outstretched arms. There was no foul called on the play, but the two collided in mid air and both fell to the ground under the basket.  As Williams stood up, Gobert stretched out his leg and tripped him. He then also appeared to kick out at Williams.  Rudy Gobert was ejected for kicking Kenrich Williams and tripping him 😳 pic.twitter.com/oCROiUhNk1 — Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) December 4, 2022 Williams popped up and stood ov...

Warriors' Stephen Curry ejected after throwing mouthpiece into stands out of frustration with Jordan Poole

Image
The Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies battled Wednesday in the latest chapter of one of the NBA's growing rivalries, but Stephen Curry wasn't allowed to take part in the final 74 seconds of the nail-biting win due to one of the more bizarre ejections you'll ever see. With 1:23 remaining in the fourth quarter and the Warriors leading by two, Klay Thompson missed a mid-range jumper that would've doubled the Warriors' lead. Donte DiVincenzo grabbed the offensive board and quickly passed to Jordan Poole, and that's where things got out of hand. With Curry calling for the ball, Poole threw up a quick 3-pointer. He missed. Curry, out of apparent frustration with Poole, angrily tossed his mouthpiece into the stands. The officials immediately ejected him from the game. LOOK: Luka Doncic, Jason Kidd ejected as Mavericks slip below .500 in loss to Timberwolves

The Dallas Mavericks have had perhaps the most frustrating season of any team in the Western Conference this season, and things just went from bad to worse on Monday in a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. That defeat, their 16th of the season, dropped the Mavericks below .500, but it wasn't just the loss itself that will bother Dallas fans. It was the way in which it came. With the Mavericks trailing in the third quarter, Luka Doncic tried to draw a foul by initiating contact with defender Jaden McDaniels before a shot. He didn't get the whistle. When Doncic complained, he was quickly issued two technical fouls and ejected . Coach Jason Kidd came to his defense, and he too was ejected .  Luka Doncic and Jason Kidd have been ejected from tonight's Game . #MFFL | @dallasmavs on @Bally Sports SW 📺 pic.twitter.com/XMC1EEaHp9 — Bally Sports Southwest (@BallySportsSW) December 20, 2022 ...
