Best NBA Player Props Today - November 15

The colorful In-Season Tournament courts are back in their boxes tonight, but there should still be some eye-popping action and tasty NBA odds to fill the void.

While the showdown between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers is the headline act, we’ll also see Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic and Kevin Durant as standout options among Wednesday’s NBA picks.

With eight games on tap and countless storylines to watch, there’s plenty to get excited about in tonight’s NBA props market. Here are my top three NBA player props picks.

Best NBA player props today

  • Nurkic Over 8.5 rebs (-115 at FanDuel)
  • LaVine Under 26.5 pts (-109 at BetRivers)
  • Sabonis Over 6.5 asts (-125 at FanDuel)

NBA player props for November 15

Prop bet #1: Nurk puts in work

It’s been a disjointed start to the season for the Phoenix Suns, and their 4-6 record speaks for itself. But amid the absences of Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, the Suns have at least been able to count on productive minutes from Jusuf Nurkic, acquired as part of the bigger Damian Lillard blockbuster trade this summer.

Nurkic is averaging 10.1 points and 9.2 rebounds through the first 10 games while playing 27 minutes a night, and his size in the paint has been a key factor in the Suns holding opponents to 46% shooting (the 10th-best mark in the NBA).

The Bosnian Beast’s rebounding prop jumps off the screen for tonight’s clash with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Nurkic has 34 rebounds over his past three games, with at least eight boards in each of those contests, and his lower rebounding tallies this year have typically come against teams that lean into small ball.

If ever there was a matchup where the Suns will need to ride Nurkic, it’s this one against a towering Timberwolves frontcourt featuring Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert.

Assuming he can avoid foul trouble, he should see a slight uptick in his minutes, and his battle with Gobert in the paint could go a long way to swinging the outcome.

Nurkic faced Minnesota three times last season with the Portland Trail Blazers — and he had 15 or more rebounds in two of those contests. I expect him to be in the mix for double-digit boards again tonight.

Jusuf Nurkic prop: Over 8.5 rebounds (-115 at FanDuel)

Prop bet #2: Zach's off track

An underwhelming 4-7 start to the season has seemingly nudged the Chicago Bulls towards shaking up their roster, with Zach LaVine rumored to be on the trade block.

That leaves LaVine in a weird spot heading into tonight’s game against the Orlando Magic. While the spotlight could be the jolt he needs to shake off an inconsistent start to the season, I’m leaning the other way with a points prop that feels too high.

Sure, LaVine will have extra touches here with DeMar DeRozan out, but he’s only scored more than 24 points once this season. He’s coming off a 20-point effort on 5-for-19 shooting against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday and now faces a Magic defense that’s only allowing 107.9 points per game this year — the sixth-best mark in the league.

In Jalen Suggs and Jonathan Isaac, Orlando has a pair capable of hounding LaVine on the perimeter, and I see the Magic being more locked in after a disappointing 124-104 loss on Tuesday. They can also afford to send double teams at LaVine with Chicago short on other offensive weapons.

LaVine is shooting 41% from the field this season — way down from his 48.5% clip last year— and he’s made less than half his shots in seven of his last eight outings. A higher shot volume tonight won’t matter much if he can’t find a rhythm.

While there should be a decent trade market for LaVine, the Bulls are in limbo in the meantime, and I see that uncertainty and speculation translating to another tough night.

Zach LaVine prop: Under 26.5 points (-109 at BetRivers)

Prop bet #3: Sabonis shares the rock

At the start of November, it looked as if the Sacramento Kings might slide down the Western Conference standings while De’Aaron Fox recovered from an ankle injury. But the Kings rallied with a pair of wins last week — in part thanks to Domantas Sabonis taking on a larger playmaking role.

Sabonis had a combined 22 assists in those victories, and he added 10 more dimes on Monday night in Fox’s return to the line-up against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

While Sabonis can now shift back into his typical role, that still tends to include a heavy dose of playmaking and I like the Over on his assists prop tonight at the 6.5 number. He’s had seven or more dimes five times this season, and Sabonis’ ability to initiate the offense allows Fox to amp up his scoring.

The Kings catch the Los Angeles Lakers on the second night of a back-to-back set, and I see the Sacramento offense humming again after scoring 132 points against the Cavs. Points in the paint may come at a premium with Anthony Davis lurking, but Sabonis can still do damage by staying aggressive and finding open shooters.

He tallied 25 dimes across his three games against the Lakers last season, and I’m taking the Over on Sabonis’ assists here.

Domantas Sabonis prop: Over 6.5 assists (-125 at FanDuel)
