Best NBA parlay picks today, Wednesday 11/29, 3-leg parlay at mega +687 odds: Nuggets exact revenge

The first month of the 2023-24 NBA season produced some terrific action, with high-profile primetime matchups galore and exciting upsets across the league. The Games continue on Wednesday and the action features a number of compelling matchups, including Rockets vs Nuggets and Clippers vs Kings. A great slate of NBA hoops tonight definitely calls for an NBA mega parlay. Below are my plays for Wednesday, and also be sure to check out all of our NBA picks for tonight’s matchups.

Lakers -7 (-110)

Nuggets alt spread -9.5 (+116)

Clippers -2 (-110)

NBA parlay odds: +687

For this NBA parlay, we are going with three favorites against the spread. Let’s break down each of the legs.

Los Angeles Lakers -7 over Detroit Pistons (-110)

The Lakers’ 3-point shooting was nowhere to be found in their last Game against the Sixers, and they also allowed Philadelphia to shoot 22-for-46 from downtown on the other end. Thankfully for LeBron James and company, they’ll get a much easier opponent tonight in Detroit, but they are 3-6 on the road this season. They have a 5-Game win streak going against the Pistons, and that should continue in this contest. Detroit has lost 14 straight Games, getting beaten by double digits in 3 of its last 4 outings. They just faced the Washington Wizards — a team that had the same record as them — and they were still beaten by 19 points. Of those 14 consecutive defeats, 7 came at home, while the Pistons are just 4-10 against the spread in this span. Let’s back a desperate Lakers team in Detroit on Wednesday.

Denver Nuggets alt spread -9.5 over Houston Rockets (+116)

This Houston Rockets team is definitely improved, and the results prove it. The Rockets are over .500 for the season, including an impressive recent home win over the Nuggets. However, they were in Dallas on Tuesday but could not hold on against the Mavericks in the 4th quarter and they have yet to win on the road this season. Now this Houston team has to head to Denver for a rematch with the defending champions on the second night of a back-to-back. That doesn’t bode well for a team that has already struggled mightily with winning away from home. Denver is arguably the toughest place to play and if this line is any indication, the Nuggets might get Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon back in the lineup tonight. Even without Jokic or Gordon, I’d still take Denver as the better rested team at home in an obvious revenge spot. Let’s take an alt spread for the defending champs.

Los Angeles Clippers -2 over Sacramento Kings (-110)

There’s no way around it – the Clippers were flat out embarrassed in their last Game by the Denver Nuggets, who were without Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon and had Michael Porter Jr. shooting just 3-for-13 from the field. Paul George made only 2 of 13 attempts from the field, while as a team the Clippers went 6-for-20 from downtown and were outscored 36-16 in the final 12 minutes. That gives us a desperate team looking to get back on track against a Kings team that is flying high at the moment after rallying from a 17-point deficit to knock off the Warriors on Tuesday.

Sacramento is playing on the second night of a back-to-back after pulling off an emotional victory over a rival, which could be an issue. They spent a ton of energy coming back from that deficit and it showed, as De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis played 40 and 37 minutes in that contest. That victory capped off a terrific 10-Game stretch for Sacramento, as the Kings have come out victorious 8 times and they’re riding a 5-Game winning streak at the Golden 1 Center. Now, it’s time to fade the beam team in a great spot for the visiting Clippers on Wednesday.
