Before Luka Doncic became an NBA star with the Dallas Mavericks, he was playing with and leaving his mark on Real Madrid in Spain. After five years, he has the chance to return to his old stomping grounds to play an exhibition Game against them as the Mavs take on Real Madrid at the Wizink Center on Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. ET (8:45 p.m. local time).

Doncic arrived in Madrid when he was just 13 years old and went on to become one of the best players in all of Europe by the time he was just 19. With Real Madrid, he won seven trophies before heading to the U.S. to play in the NBA. When he was living in Madrid, he wasn’t quite as well-known as he is now. These days, he is receiving a little more attention when he walks the streets of Madrid.
