EPL pick today: Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest – Over 2.5 goals (-136), 12:30 pm ET
Arsenal’s Premier League title bid was dealt a potentially terminal blow with Sunday’s 3-0 home loss to Brighton. The Gunners have now allowed 17 goals in their last 9 EPL games and go up against a Nottingham Forest team fighting to secure its safety.
Central to Forest’s survival push has been an uptick in its attacking form with 12 goals scored in the last 5 games and 7 in the last 2 at home. Its defense remains vulnerable with no shutouts in 15 league games. The last 5 games have produced 23 goals in total and every one has gone over the 2.5-goal line, while Arsenal has seen 3 or more goals in 11 of its last 12 Premier League games. For that reason, backing the over will be our play.

NBA pick today: Denver Nuggets vs Los Angeles Lakers – Under 222.5 points (-110), 8:30 pm ET
Tonight’s game will be in Los Angeles, and the Nuggets’ have struggled on the road, losing 3 of their last 5 road games. We should see a repeat of Game 2 in regards to how the defenses will play, as Lakers cannot afford to go down down 3-0 in this series. Defense has been one of the Lakers’ strengths in the playoffs, therefore backing this game to go under the total will be our play.

MLS pick today: Chicago Fire vs Atlanta United – Over 2.5 goals (-154), 8:30 pm ET
Atlanta’s visit to Soldier Field to play the Fire looks likely to be a high-scoring game. Four of Atlanta United’s last 6 MLS games have gone over 3.5 goals, so surpassing a lower line of 2.5 looks more than reasonable. The visitors are the top scorers in the Eastern Conference with 25 goals, therefore backing the over will be our best bet.

MLS pick today: St. Louis FC vs Sporting Kansas City (+110), 9:30 pm ET
St. Louis City looks a good bet to win tonight as no MLS team has failed to find the net in more games than Kansas City’s total of 7 this season. St. Louis has already won 3 MLS home games and these teams are at opposite ends of the standings, therefore backing St. Louis will be our best bet.
